Since Amazon first introduced the Kindle digital book reader in 2007, it has been an extremely popular gadget because it does for books what the iPod did for music. It made it easy to carry a huge amount of books with you wherever you go but in some ways it takes it even further because you can't buy new music directly through your iPod but you can buy (and download in just 60 seconds) new books with a Kindle wherever you are. With this new Global Kindle, you can get wireless service (with no extra fees, at all) in over 100 countries around the world. This makes it perfect for Americans who travel abroad and for people who live all around the world. And amazingly this new global wireless service comes at a cost of only $20 extra dollars in comparison with the price of the US only Kindle. Global Kindle Features
